Spring is back
It is said that it takes 21 days to form a habit.
When setting a new routine, it needs to be sustainable, which in turn will become more enjoyable.
Get motivated and slowly get back into the habit of working out regularly.
As the weather warms up, this can be an ideal time to commence a new routine.
Our tips to help you succeed:
- Find a friend to either exercise with, or share your plans with each week to help you remain on track with your goals.
- Start slowly. Aim for 2 to 3 sessions per week, allow yourself recovery time and build up gradually.
- Find an exercise or activity that you enjoy. *Sometimes thinking outside the square may be just what you need.
- Did you always enjoy dancing as a child, or do you reminisce about the tennis player or swimmer you once were? Many of these activities can be adapted no matter what your current level of fitness is.
